An artistically designed 26-day journey from Johanesburg, South Africa, to Cairo, Egypt. This African safari takes you to the best wildlife sceneries in Africa – Kruger National Park in South Africa; Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti in Tanzania; and Masai Mara Game Reserve and Lake Nakuru in Kenya. After South Africa, the journey takes you to Zambia for a Victoria Falls safari. In Egypt, you’ll tour the best of ancient and medieval heritage of Egypt – Cairo City Tour and Egyptian Nile Cruise safari.

Day 1: Johannesburg Our representative will receive you at OR Tambo Airport in Johannesburg and transferred to D’Oreale Grande Hotel for overnight. You have a free day to rest and relax. Day 2: Johannesburg-Kruger Park Early morning English or Continental breakfast of choice opens the day for the trip to Nelspruit by road to Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve. You can have an optional lunch followed by an evening game drive after checking into the Lions Sands Ivory Lodge or have a spa treat or a swim at the swimming pool available at the Lions Sands.

Day 3: Kruger Park
Early morning English or Continental breakfast of choice opens the day for an early morning open Big 5 4x4 game drive with an experienced game ranger within the Sabi Sand Private Game reserve and the Kruger National Park. A quick return is made to the Lions Sands Ivory lodge for a quick Lunch and refreshing before an evening open Big 5 4x4 open game drive which will give tourist the opportunity of sightings of rhinos, buffalo, elephants and nocturnal predators such as lions and leopards. A return is made in the night to Lions Sands Ivory Lodge just in time for dinner and overnight accommodation.

Day 4: Kruger-Johannesburg
A dawn bush walk with the assistance of an armed game ranger to catch a glimpse of nocturnal animals returning to their den followed by an English or Continental breakfast of choice opens the day for a drive to Johannesburg with an overnight at D’Oreale Grande Hotel.

Day 5 Johanesburg-Victoria Falls You’ll be picked from their hotels or location in Johannesburg or Pretoria to OR Tambo Airport for pre-booked flight to Livingstone Airport is on the Zambian side of the Mighty Waterfalls. You will be met on arrival at the airport and transferred to The Zambezi Sun Hotel. Day 6: Victoria Falls Full day activities at Victoria Falls with accommodation at The Zambezi Sun Hotel.

Day 7: Victoria Falls-Lusaka
After breakfast, a representative of The Zambezi Sun Hotel will transfer you to Livingstone Airport to catch Proflight Flight departing1300hrs and arriving at Lusaka Airport at 1410hrs. A representative of Cresta Golfview Hotel will pick you from Lusaka Airport on arrival and transfer you to their hotel on Half Board accommodation.

Day 8: Lusaka-Nairobi-Arusha
After breakfast, a representative of Cresta Golfview Hotel will transfer you to Lusaka Airport to catch your Kenya Airways Flight departing 1005hrs and arriving in Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at 1625hrs. You will then connect Kenya Airways flight KQ6726 departing Nairobi at 1800hrs and arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport at 1900hrs. Our Tanzania representative will receive you at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer you to Impala Hotel in Arusha for overnight at Impala Hotel on Half Board accommodation.

Day 9: Arusha-Lake Manyara
Depart Arusha in the morning for Lake Manyara, afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Tree Lodge. Thanks to its compact size, Manyara National Park is ideal for viewing a wide variety of plant and animal life in a concentrated area. Nestled at the base of a dramatic rift escarpment, the park’s unusual ground-water forest is a preserve for giraffe, buffalo, impala, zebra, elephant and most notably for lion, which, for reasons unknown, sleep in the branches of acacia trees.

Day 10: Lake Manyara-Ngorongoro
After breakfast, check out and game drive en route in search of the tree climbing lions before proceed Ngorongoro Crater and arrive at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon visit the Maasai Village (you will pay USD50 per person for the visit).

Day 11: Ngorongoro
After breakfast descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half day of game drive. You check into Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge before lunch and spend the afternoon at leisure by the Lodge.

Day 12: Ngorongoro-Serengeti
After breakfast drive to Serengeti National Park, via Olduvai Gorge archaeological site, with game viewing en route in the Serengeti. Meals and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge.

Day 13-14: Serengeti
After breakfast depart for a whole day of game drives in the Serengeti National Park on the wildebeest migration trail. Meals and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge.

Day 15: Serengeti-Masai Mara
After breakfast transfer to Isebania border carrying packed lunch. To be picked from the Isebania border by our Kenyan guide and continue with safari to Masai Mara Game Reserve, famous for wildebeest migration. Meals and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 16-17: Masai Mara
Spend the whole day in the Masai Mara plains doing game drives and on the look out for herds of wildebeests crossing the crocodile-infested Mara River. Meals and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 18: Masai Mara-Lake Nakuru
Depart Mara for Lake Nakuru. Lunch at the Flamingo Hill Tented Camp followed by an extensive afternoon game drives in the park. Lake Nakuru National Park is a nature lover's paradise, famous for her bird spectacle of a million flamingoes, the White Rhino and the rare leopard.

Day 19: Lake Nakuru–Nairobi–Cairo
Depart Lake Nakuru after breakfast and drive to Nairobi. Lunch at Panari Hotel in Nairobi. Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to catch your late afternoon/evening flight to Cairo, Egypt. Our Egyptian representative will meet you at Cairo Airport and transfer you to the Flamingo Hotel for three nights accommodation including breakfast daily.

Day 20: Cairo
Full day private tour—visit the Great Pyramids and Sphinx of Giza plus Saqqara and Memphis.

Day 21: Cairo
Full day private tour – visit the Egyptian Museum, The Bazaar and Coptic Cairo.
Day 18: Cairo to Aswan. Flight to Aswan. Transferred to the Presidential Nile cruise boat for a four night cruise to Luxor. Visit Elephantine Island and the Agha Khan Mausoleum by felucca. Note: optional excursion to Abu Simbel by air can be taken this morning (at own expense).

Day 22: Edfu
Morning visit to the High Dam, Granite Quarries and Temple of Philae. Sail to Kom Ombo and onto Edfu for overnight.

Day 23: Luxor Morning visit to Temple of Horus. Sail onto Esna then onto Luxor for overnight. Day 24: Luxor Cross to the West Bank – visit the Valley of Kings and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the fabled Colossi of Memnon and Necropolis of Thebes. Afternoon visit Karnak and Luxor Temples on the East Bank.

Day 25: Luxor to Cairo
Flight to Cairo. Transfer to the Flamingo Hotel for overnight.

Day 26: Cairo-Fly Home
Transfer to Cairo Airport for your international flight home.
