The main gate to Nairobi National Park in only 15 minutes drive from city your hotel. Here, you have the chance to see plains game including rare species like black rhinos, giraffes and lions.

SVAE 004: KAREN BLIXEN AND GIRAFFE CENTRE
You start off with a visit to the former home of the famous author; Karen von Blixen. The house, called Karen Blixen Museum contains many of her original works and pieces along with some donated by the makers of the film “Out of Africa”. The proceed to the nearby giraffe centre – a sanctuary of the unique and endangered Rothschild giraffe - where you have the opportunity to watch and feed giraffes at close range, perhaps the closest you can get to the tallest animal on earth! 3-4 hrs daily on request.

SVAE 005: DAPHNE SHELDRICK ORPHANAGE
Visit to the Daphne Sheldrick Animal orphanage on the fringes of Nairobi National Park. It’s an orphanage for orphaned elephants and here you have the opportunity to mingle with baby elephants and learn about their plight. 4 hrs daily on request.

obviously one of the best restaurants in Africa, Carnivore has many international awards to its name. Here you have the chance to sample Kenya’s delight and sumptuous game meat like crocodile, ostrich and others depending on availability and season (Vegetarian dishes are also available).
