Destination Kruger National Park: The Flagship of South African Tourism.

The park was named after former South Africa President, Paul Kruger, and declared the country’s first National Park in 1926.

The Greater Kruger National Park is a collection of private game reserves bordering the Kruger National Park and is home to exclusive safari lodges for the traveler with a more luxurious safari in mind.

Very few destinations in the world can compare to the Kruger Park experience. The world-renowned Kruger National Park offers a wildlife experience that ranks with the best in Africa.

The best time to view the wildlife is during the winter months of April to September, as water is restricted to rivers and waterhole's, visibility is also good as the vegetation is less dense. Summer from October to March is often hot and humid due to the rains, birding is excellent and wildlife viewing is good in the early morning and late afternoon. November and December are the calving month.
